Plans are in the works to upgrade Lomas Santa Fe Plaza with a new 65,000-square-foot structure that will take the place of an existing 19,000-square-foot building, making room for another anchor and additional retailers. The development proposal was circulated to area residents for public review and residents' comments were prepared and submitted to the City in October 2008. Along with the change in square footage, the center would gain a much-needed subterranean two-story parking structure.
